Events photography and film

Covering events is about understanding what’s important to the client and the visitors and capturing that truth in a series of images. Event filming typically takes around four hours and I usually do a variety of stills, filming and interviews to be used in press and publicity, future marketing and social media. The social media images are available there and then, ready to tell the day’s story.

Filming an interview with legend Jenny Agutter OBE at Tate Modern

Events always have a time constraint in which to gather the necessary collection of imagery and media. Often there are a lot of press and PR professionals and my job is to navigate through the crowds and get myself in front of the right people at the right time.
