JSP was Commissioned by the Green Party to make a Crowd funder film celebrating Brighton and Hove for the May 2nd Elections
Two perfect sunny, winter days for photography and a series of interviews with local councillors and Caroline Lucas MP and we were good to go into the edit.
I developed the script after consultation with the local party management.
Along with the commercial, touristy image of Brighton, we wanted to celebrate its character and style too.
I’ve worked with Caroline Lucas MP over the last three general elections and knew that the best strategy was to get her to talk truthfully to camera.
So after filming cutaways we sat down for a quick chat to camera and as usual Caroline delivered exactly what we needed to motivate people to get involved and vote green.
I delivered the film on time and on budget and the crowd funder campaign was successful and reached its target before the deadline.
